Fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve within the Municipality of Anchorage

There are options available for the safe viewing of fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve within the Municipality:

Anchorage’s New Year’s Eve celebration is a free family event in Town Square. The celebration begins at 5 P.M. and ends with a fireworks display at 8 P.M.
Chugiak and Eagle River’s New Year’s Eve celebration is a free family event at Lion’s Park. Starting at 6 P.M. food trucks will be on site and ends with the fireworks display at 8 P.M.
Girdwood’s New Year’s Eve public celebration is the Torchlight Parade at Alyeska Resort. Skiers and snowboarders descend the mountain with torches at 9 P.M. creating a parade of lights from top to bottom, with a fireworks display at 9:30 P.M.
