The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Spill Prevention and Response, Contaminated Sites Program (CSP) has revised the Vapor Intrusion Guidance for Contaminated Sites. This guidance, which can be reviewed here, is provided to assist the regulated community in evaluating the vapor intrusion pathway. The guidance was revised to update the Agency for Toxic Substance Registry inhalation minimal risk levels (MRLs) and vapor intrusion target levels based on a review of more recent chemical-specific toxicity data. Please note that only Appendices B through G have been revised to reflect updated MRLs and vapor intrusion target levels. If you have questions regarding this guidance or the updates to Appendices B through G, please contact Todd Blessing at Todd.Blessing@alaska.gov or 907-269-7699.
