I hope the Supreme(s) allow the voters wishes.  Two votes?  How much money/time was spent on this? How much money/time will be spent on the appeal?
Nathaniel Herz: Judge overturns results in northern Alaska election, declaring Nageak the winner

I have listened to scanner’s and the broadcasts are not crystal clear. Maybe the sound quality has improved over the years. I enjoy the scanner page. I understand both sides of the issue. If Nixle alerts are best for safety, then that is what will have to be.

Congratulations Vivian Korthuis

Mavis Muller’s Burning Basket Project
Meet Annika Niebuhr (left) from Berlin, Germany. Annika has been doing an artist-in-residency with me and the Burning Basket project for 7 weeks in full theme immersion. She was an invaluable assistant for Homer Burning Basket, EXPAND – Basket of Remembrance & Unburdening which was ignited and burned on Sept. 11. Then we journeyed on to Ketchikan to create this beauty as a gift for that unique community. RUNS DEEP – Basket of Respect & Appreciation was ignited and burned on Oct.1. My cup runneth over with gratitude, respect, appreciation, and love for this beautiful, fun, capable & viable person. Thanks for the laughs & tears as we merged our creativity & imagination with intense hard core strenuous labor of love to give a good gift. Oceans of emotions there at the terminal in Ketchikan as she departed to go back to Berlin. Annika, my friend, YOU inspire me. I look forward to future collaborations and until we meet again keep a fire burning in your heart.
