HALO Meeting Agenda
Anchorage, AK
Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 7 p.m.
In-Person at Shepherd of the Hills (corner Klatt Rd & Elmore Rd)
or via Zoom
Meeting ID 455 419 5765 Passcode HALO
Join us for a special HALO meeting at 7 pm on Thursday, June 1st.
Topics will include a discussion of the DOT plans for the Seward/O’Malley interchange, which will include the creation of “double divergent diamonds” intersections. For those unfamiliar with the terminology, this is the pattern used at the intersection of Muldoon and the Glenn Highway.
We will also be formatting our input on AO 2023-66, which would take our current zoning districts and place them into only two categories in an effort to allow small lots throughout Anchorage. While most of the Hillside is zoned R-6 Large Lot Residential with one acre minimum square footage, this AO, if adopted, would remove minimums and dramatically increase densities.
