“Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.”
Blaise Pascal.
This includes all of the words you say to yourself.
Everyone you know is drowning right now.
Breathe.
Be kind.
You cannot see your reflection in boiling water.
Similarly, you cannot see the truth in a state of anger.
Tired? We’re all a little bleary from the time change. Be kind to everyone, including you.
In the middle of assholes?
It’s happened to all of us. These people we think are our “friends,” we suddenly realize are actually assholes. Now what? Be kind — to yourself and them by letting go of the assholes.
The seasons are changing.
Grab a warm drink, take a few deep breathes, and remind yourself — “I’ve got this.”
Let kindness warm your heart and mind.
Beauty surrounds you — even in the weeds and dry brush.
Look for it.
It’s the world infusing you with kindness.
Years from now, someone will ask you what this time was like for you. What will you tell them? How will you share your experiences of this time? Be kind when you speak and everyone will remember your words.
