It takes courage to get through the day now. Crazy variants to a deadly virus, weird politics, chaotic people… It’s a lot. You are courageous enough. You are able enough.
There is beauty in this wild and crazy world. Give yourself a chance to see it, if only through your computer screen. Visit a famous museum. Read a books from a library. Meet someone new online. This is your life — get creative about drawing beauty into your life.
Wear your mask. Ignore the screamers like they are the head nun and your skirt is too short.
Listen, I know it’s easy to laugh at the stupidity and rage at the cruelty. Mocking and rage may feel like your strengths — but they are not. Kindness is powerful. Be kind. Stay within your own power.
This week, why not reach out to yourself with kindness? What do you need, now? What are you dreaming of? What would it take to light up hope inside you again?
In this time of peoples’ crazy antics, raging viruses, economic uncertainty, and all of the bs — share your love with someone today. Being kind is a way of sharing your love. Kindness is love in action.
Dark storm clouds in your life and on your mind? Beyond every storm is clear blue sky. Hang on. These storms will pass. You will rebuild.
The kindest thing you can do for yourself and the world is to get a Covid-19 vaccine, wear your mask, keep space between you and others, and wash your hands. Be kind to yourself and to others.
Don’t let fear steal away your goals and dreams.
