“Because you are alive, everything is possible.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
Those jive talking turkeys don’t know what they are talking about! They feed on your anxiety. Stop listening to them. Be kind to you!
This is the time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere where the light begins to wane. Rather than suffer inside, grab a mask and get outside. 20 minutes of sunshine can give you an emotional boost and help boost your immune system. Take care of you.
This season is filled with so much beauty. Look for it until you expect to see it everywhere.
No matter what falls on you, you’ll find that kindness makes everything better. Be kind — to yourself and everyone you interact with.
Yes, yes, I understand, you’ve been thinking about this over and over and over and over again. LET IT GO! The future will unfold, and you will react perfectly. But only if you’re rested. Use the power of fall to let the ruminations go. You’ll be ready when the time comes.
This is a bull. He knows how to pee and how to poop and how to express semen. If you hang out with bulls, you’re going to become just a bit more like the bull. Is that really what you want? To be good at bullshit? Be kind to you. Find some new friends.
Some weeks have a lot of pressure to them. Be kind to you. Maybe that’s a moment of silence or a hug from someone you love or a Zoom call to a friend or a glass of wine or grab a mask and go for a walk. Make sure that you get a moment of your time.
Wherever you live in the world, we all have a lot to be thankful for. Join me in being thankful for first responders, tireless lab scientists, data nerds, exhausted doctors and nurses, morgue assistants, grocery workers, trash collectors, postal workers, election professionals, farmers, and, oh heck, everyone that keeps the world moving — including you.
You are loved. No matter how you feel or what you think, you are loved by more people than you could imagine.
There is so much to think about — both good and bad. Whatever you do, try to keep your thoughts kind. They will help you live a better life. A kind word or deed to another person will help them lead their best life.
Spring is just around the corner. Spring in your life; spring in your world; and spring in your work. Be kind to everyone you know and spring will befall you.
Let your kindness stand out above the crowd of idiocy and cruelty.
Life is short. This year has been very hard for everyone. Eat dessert first. Tell everyone that you love them. Be kind even when you don’t have to.
This year has been one storm after another. We’ve waited long enough. It’s time to dance — in our homes, safe from the virus. This is our chance to dance for ourselves, to strengthen our own hearts and souls, so that we are strong and able to dance when we get together again.
