Our Support group meets the third Saturday of each month at 3:30 in the afternoon. The meetings take place at the Anchorage Pioneer Home , 923 West 11th Avenue in downtown Anchorage on the fifth floor in the West lounge. You may call 350-9691 with questions about the group and meetings.

A Taste of Alaska: Tired

Now, keep in mind this all happened in the span of 6 weeks, it was kind of a whirlwind. Someone will tell me I am a cancer survivor but it doesn’t feel that way because it all happened to fast that I never fully grasped that I had cancer, and now it is gone and I don’t have any further treatments, it doesn’t seem real. Don’t get me wrong, I have been a hot mess the last 3 months (feel very sorry for my dear husband) and facing the mirror with one breast removed has been harder than I can even put into words, but today I stand here a healthy, cancer free, slightly lopsided woman. YAHOO!

Toxic Free Q&A Home – Live Toxic Free

This week this newsletter is slightly different.

I’ve spent most of this past week working with a client to furnish her nontoxic apartment so she can bring her MCS son for treatment to a doctor here in Florida. She hired me to help her choose the furniture (and everything else!) and then go to the apartment and prepare it for their arrival. So it’s been a big job. We’re almost done. I’m actually there as you are reading this. I wrote this newsletter yesterday.

So this week instead of the usual Q&A and Debra’s List, I’ve written a Q&A post to share with you my experience with furnishing this nontoxic apartment.
